Nobody in their wildest dreams would think that travelling would be gone for good. Even for two years, thanks to global lockdowns. But now that it’s picking up at full throttle and people are venturing out on trips, capturing precious moments takes a high-up place in our priorities lists.
After all, photography has the power to turn precious moments into everlasting memories. Even in a highly digitalised world, when it comes to the fate of those pictures, studies show that printed photos are still a preference in all age groups.
So why keep all those memories stuck on a phone?
As a brand, it’s not always easy to provide over-the-top experiences to all your customers in order to get their love and attention. Evoking emotions in an oversaturated attention economy can be challenging. Here’s where Photo Rewards–a highly emotive and attention-grabbing medium–come into play.
Can you imagine your brand being associated with positive feelings and prominently displayed in the sights of your customers where they feel the happiest–their home?
With Photo Rewards, you can offer your customers a way to preserve their best memories at a low cost but packed with impact and meaning.
Sounds nice, but you can’t quite picture it yet? Worry not; we’ve got you covered with a few campaign ideas below.
There are many ways to offer a photo reward to your customers as a gift from your brand – all depending on your specific needs and preferences. You can activate customers via email, organic and promoted social media, influencers, push notifications, and other channels.
idea 1
This fictional campaign focuses on acquiring new customers by offering photo rewards as a gift for “World Tourism Day”, with personalised offers on the reverse.
The activation can be done through social media, where customers will be redirected to a fully branded microsite (hosted by Stampix) to provide all their details (and where we collect your 1st party-data). The reverse of their photos will be dynamically changed depending on the data collected about their travel plans. Every picture can have a unique reverse design, with different destinations around the same theme.
Idea 2
This fictional campaign aims to turn your frequent flyers into loyal customers. Countless travellers use airline apps to manage their flight details but don’t necessarily engage with the airline afterwards. In these cases, we can use a friendly push notification after their return flight to gift them their best moments printed for free.
When consumers tap the alert, they’ll be sent to a Stampix-hosted microsite with the airline’s branding to fill out a form with their details and opt into the airline’s future comms. On the reverse of the photos, customers can write a note to a relative or friend with whom they want to share their memories.
Idea 3
This hypothetical campaign encourages guests to leave feedback on their experience and makes them dream about their next stay.
The idea is to provide a gift contingent on feedback to increase the response rate and leverage the perfect moment since visitors will have tons of pictures from their trip. By the end of the feedback journey, they will be redirected to a fully branded microsite (hosted by Stampix) to leave all their details, including the answer about their favourite accommodation type. The reverse of their photos will be dynamically changed depending on their accommodation choice. Each picture can have a distinct reverse design, with different destinations around the same theme.
